Module 3: Spinal Adjustment of the Child

3This module addresses that area of practice which is fundamental to what we do as chiropractors in our management of the pediatric patient: the adjustment of the child. This module is presented as a 35 page e-book which includes over 58 videos. The e-book is presented in two sections:

  1. Adjustment of the Neonate and Baby
  2. Adjustment of the Toddler and Older Child

This module presents both manual and drop piece adjusting techniques for both the neonate and baby, as well as the toddler and older child. Perhaps most importantly, this module focuses on those aspects of pediatric adjusting that potentially are of most practical value for the family practitioner in private practice. For this reason, the techniques presented are of clinical value to both experienced chiropractors as well as new graduates, and are both easy to learn and very importantly, easy to implement into your practice immediately.

This module on adjusting the child, together with Modules 1 and 2, covering the child’s initial visit as well as the pediatric cranial examination and treatment, will provide the chiropractor with a simple yet thorough systematic approach to examining the child for the presence of neurological disturbance due to dural tension and cranial sutural dysfunction, as well as cranial and vertebral subluxations. In addition to this, these modules will present for the pediatric practitioner, a structured and methodical approach to the management of these conditions.

Essentially, these modules will enable both new graduates and experienced chiropractors to gain more confidence and competence with their examination and adjustment skills, and as a result create a far greater level of pediatric certainty in practice.

This module is accredited for 12 CE Hours in the State of California. (Other states pending)
